Major Players invest in Percepio
Percepio AB develops the Tracealyzer software, an analysis tool for developers of embedded and Linux-based software systems. Tracealyzer visualizes the internal behavior of the target system through more than 20 graphical views, interconnected in intuitive ways. This gives developers a new level of insight allowing for higher development efficiency.
Percepio is now backed up by ten Swedish investors headed by ALMI Invest and Stockholms Affärsänglar, who now invest 1.98 MSEK into Percepio. One of the major investors is Mr. Tomas Wolf, former CEO of IAR Systems AB (1990 – 2004) and now CEO of SP Devices AB. Mr. Wolf is joining the board together with Mr. Fredrik Runnquist representing Stockholms Affärsänglar. Mr. Niklas Rudemo, former President of Virtutech (acquired by Intel) takes over as chairman of the board.
Percepio CEO and founder, Dr. Johan Kraft comments: “We are very excited about now being able to ramp up our efforts in launching the new Tracealyzer products for VxWorks and Linux. It is especially exciting to welcome Mr. Tomas Wolf on board as board member and investor, given his long experience in the embedded software domain. ”
Percepio collaborates with several established vendors of operating systems for embedded software and today offers versions of Tracealyzer for VxWorks, Linux, Micrium µC/OS-III, FreeRTOS, OpenRTOS, SafeRTOS, On Time RTOS-32 and RT Labs rt-kernel.
