Atmel Corporation, a leading developer of micro-controllers, today announced the integration of Percepio Trace in Atmel Studio 6.2, a free development environment for Atmel micro-controllers now available in a Beta release.
Percepio Trace allow developers to better understand, analyze and optimize their embedded software without having to add instrumentation code to the software. Percepio Trace utilize hardware trace support in SAM3 and SAM4 MCUs to provide innovative trace visualization using standard development boards and debuggers. The final version will be available in April 2014.

Demo of Percepio Trace
The official version of Atmel Studio 6.2 is now available, including the final, complete version of Percepio Trace. This includes task/ISR trace, data trace, RTOS object states, debug prints via SWO and statistical profiling features. Atmel Studio is available here.
