Västerås, Sweden – 26 August 2026 – Percepio AB, a leading provider of observability solutions for embedded and edge systems, today announced the appointment of Andreas Klintemyr as Product Lead.

The appointment comes as Percepio enters a new phase of product development and growth. Building on the success of Tracealyzer, Percepio is expanding its offering toward Continuous Observability across the product lifecycle – from development and testing through deployment – with a portfolio comprising Percepio Tracealyzer®, Percepio Detect™, and Percepio DevAlert®.

Embedded software development is entering a period of rapid change, driven by AI, increasing system complexity, new development workflows, and continuously evolving product lifecycles. This is reshaping how engineering and product teams work. At Percepio, we intend to stay ahead of that transformation. Andreas Klintemyr brings a strong combination of customer insight, technical expertise, and product leadership. He will play a key role in sharpening our product strategy and turning emerging opportunities into real value for our customers,” said Andreas Lifvendahl, CEO of Percepio.

Andreas Klintemyr joins Percepio from Electrolux Group, where he most recently served as Senior Product Manager, following a role as Connectivity System Integration Manager. His background spans connected products, robotics, and technology development, and he has been named as an inventor on several patents relating to robotic cleaning technologies. He holds an M.Sc. in Mechatronics and Hydraulics from Linköping University, where his thesis research on energy efficient hydraulic systems was conducted in collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment.

His experience developing complex connected and autonomous products brings a perspective that complements Percepio’s deep expertise in embedded software observability.

I’m honored to become part of the Percepio team. The company has a strong position and a powerful tool suite for the future. I’ve spent several years developing and maintaining IoT-connected devices, launching new products, and managing OTA campaigns. As AI-assisted development accelerates the pace of software delivery, this can lead to more complex systems and faster development cycles. At the same time, evolving regulatory requirements are increasing the need to understand, monitor, and analyze what is happening inside embedded systems throughout their lifecycle. Percepio’s tool suite is well-positioned to help engineering teams address these challenges,” said Andreas Klintemyr, Product Lead at Percepio.

Andreas began his new role by meeting Percepio customers and partners at Microchip’s annual MASTERs conference in Phoenix, connecting with the embedded systems community and gaining firsthand insight into the challenges facing developers of increasingly complex connected products.

With Andreas joining the team, Percepio is continuing to build the product organization needed to turn its technical expertise and customer insight into products that help developers understand, diagnose, and improve increasingly complex embedded systems.
