At this year’s Embedded World Percepio will launch Tracealyzer for embedded Linux, giving embedded Linux developers access to the Tracealyzer advantages that RTOS developers have come to depend on. Our latest Tracealyzer version includes new visualization capabilities and an intuitive user interface that speeds debugging even for large, complex Linux systems.
A Linux system is substantially larger and more complex than the average RTOS; we dealt with this by improving visualisation and user interface to still provide the clarity, overview and user experience that Tracealyzer users have come to expect. Like earlier Tracealyzer for Linux releases, this version relies on the Linux-native LTTng tracing framework, enabling developers to capture both kernel and user space software events.
The other big thing we will have on display in our booth is DevAlert, hitherto known as Device Firmware Monitor. A number of beta customers are already incorporating DevAlert into their future products, and you could be the next one – talk to us about obtaining DevAlert for evaluation. DevAlert is also generating a lot of excitement from our hardware and RTOS partners, and we expect several of them to show it in their booths; we’ll update you with details as we come closer to the show.
Joint presentation by Percepio and Arm
On Thursday 27 February at 15.30 Percepio CEO Johan Kraft will give a presentation together with Arm’s Reinhard Keil, titled “Software Analysis with Event Annotations”. The presentation is part of the conference program and requires a separate registration.
Embedded World attracts some 30 000 visitors every year and is well worth a visit. You are more than welcome to see us in booth #4-305, we would be happy to talk to you and show our products, and answer any questions you may have.
