Getting Started with Percepio Tracealyzer

Capture your first trace, open it in Tracealyzer and learn how to find useful information about your embedded system.

Download and Installation

To download and install Tracealyzer, please follow our download and installation instructions

How would you like to capture the data?

Tracealyzer supports two data-capture modes for RTOS devices: Snapshot, which stores trace data in a ring buffer on the target, and Streaming, which transfers trace data to the host in real time. Non-RTOS systems such as Linux leverages LTTng whereas VxWorks uses wvLib.

New to Tracealyzer? Start with Snapshot tracing.

The simplest way to capture your first trace: VxWorks and Linux use the local filesystem, while other platforms require only a RAM buffer.

Need long-running or live traces? Use Streaming.
