Percepio is a Swedish embedded software tools company building the category of Continuous Observability for embedded, RTOS-based, and edge systems. The company has strong products, a respected position in its niche, and clear market potential – but limited bandwidth in contrast to the value potential. The near-term focus is disciplined, capital-efficient growth: improving execution capacity, conversion, and measurable revenue traction. This role sits in that context. It is not a traditional broad marketing manager role. It is a hands-on growth operations and digital execution role: part operator, part coordinator, part optimizer. The purpose is to help Percepio turn existing activity, systems, signals, and external resources into a tighter and more measurable growth engine.
Role Summary
The Digital Growth Engine Lead will work closely with the CEO as the daily operator and coordinator of Percepio’s digital growth loop. The role spans CRM, marketing operations, lifecycle automation, lead flow, light campaign operations, analytics, and coordination of a small virtual external team.
This person will not be expected to personally do everything end to end. Instead, success comes from making sure the machine runs: keeping priorities moving, connecting systems, driving follow-up, spotting bottlenecks, organizing tests, and turning data into concrete actions.
The role may suit either a sharp early-career operator with strong AI-tool fluency and SaaS instincts, or a more experienced consultant who enjoys hands-on execution in a lean environment. What matters most is energy, judgment, ownership, and the ability to make progress without bureaucracy.
Core Responsibilities
Growth operations and cadence
• Own the day-to-day operational follow-through of the digital growth track.
• Maintain a clear backlog of growth actions, experiments, fixes, and dependencies.
• Run a weekly check-in rhythm with the CEO and keep priorities moving between meetings.
• Document what was tested, what changed, and what needs to happen next.
CRM, lifecycle and funnel management
• Improve structure and hygiene in Zoho CRM, including contact flow, lead stages, qualification logic, and signal capture.
• Help connect suspect -> prospect -> RFQ -> customer -> licensee journeys into a more coherent lifecycle.
• Strengthen automation and nurture flows in Mailchimp and adjacent tools.
• Support better linkage between orders, license registrations, usage signals, renewals, and follow-up actions.
Digital marketing execution
• Monitor and coordinate digital ad activity with a practical ROI mindset.
• Help improve landing-page flow, messaging continuity, and conversion paths.
• Support campaign execution for newsletters, product updates, partner campaigns, and targeted outreach.
• Contribute to experiments around AI/ChatGPT search visibility and inbound optimization together with Bonzer.
External resource coordination
• Act as the operational coordinator for a small virtual team under the CEO’s direction.
• Translate business priorities into concrete asks for Bonzer, Lennart, and Monika.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, timing, and follow-up so that external contributions align with one shared growth plan.
• Ensure that work from different parties connects rather than fragments.
Analytics and management reporting
• Build and maintain simple, trusted KPI views rather than complex dashboards for their own sake.
• Help define and track practical metrics such as website-to-trial, trial-to-RFQ, trial-to-buy, campaign ROI, CAC trend, renewal success, and time from order to happy licensee.
• Surface weak signals and bottlenecks early, with clear recommendations for action.
• Support monthly summaries and quarterly gate discussions.
What is Success in the Role and First 90 Days
- The company has a cleaner and more measurable digital funnel, with less ambiguity and less manual detective work.
- External resources are better aligned and produce joined-up output.
- Evaluator and prospect journeys become easier to follow, nurture, and improve.
- Digital ads, campaigns, content, and partner amplification are tracked more systematically against downstream outcomes.
- The role helps create a repeatable internal function, not only temporary extra hands.
First 90 Days Expectations
- Create one shared view of the funnel: web traffic, leads, evaluators/prospects, RFQs, orders, license activation, renewals, churn signals, and key source attribution.
- Establish a practical weekly operating cadence with the CEO: what happened, what is stuck, what is being tested, and what actions move next.
- Improve CRM hygiene and process discipline in Zoho so that lead status, source, progression, and follow-up become more reliable.
- Strengthen nurture and conversion flow for evaluators and prospects through better automation, list segmentation, reminder logic, and clearer handoffs.
- Coordinate and help direct Percepio’s extended digital team, including SEO/AI-search support, web and systems support, and PR/partner-amplification resources.
- Support continuous optimization of digital ads and landing paths, especially Google Ads and Reddit experiments, with a stronger link between spend, lead quality, RFQs, and revenue outcomes.
- Make KPI reporting simple enough that ROI, bottlenecks, and progress become visible to management and the Board.
Candidate Profile

Must have qualities:
- Hands-on, self-starting, and comfortable in a small company where momentum matters.
- Strong grasp of B2B SaaS funnel logic, conversion thinking, and lifecycle operations.
- Comfortable working in CRM and marketing systems such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, or equivalent.
- Able to structure experiments: hypothesis, action, measurement, learning, next step.
- Strong written English and clear communication; able to turn observations into concrete actions.
- Fluent and practical with AI tools for research, drafting, workflow support, and productivity gains.
- Organized enough to coordinate multiple contributors without becoming bureaucratic.
Strongly meriting
- Experience in developer tools, technical B2B SaaS, industrial software, or embedded/engineering-adjacent environments.
- Experience with paid search, Reddit or technical-community campaigns, landing-page iteration, or demand-capture programs.
- Experience connecting CRM, licensing, order, or subscription data into a more coherent commercial flow.
- Comfort working with technical founders and translating between commercial and technical perspectives.
- Experience in lean consultancy-style delivery with visible weekly progress.
- Swedish language ability.
- Experience with SEO content operations or AI-search visibility work.
- Prior exposure to product-led growth, evaluator onboarding, or customer-success workflows.
Practical Set-up and Application
Location: Västerås/Mälardalen / hybrid.
Start: As soon as possible.
- Preferred arrangement: part-time engagement, around 50 percent, for an initial 3-6 month period.
- Percepio is open to either fixed-term employment or a consultant setup, depending on fit and availability.
- Remote can work, but overlap with Sweden / EU working hours is important.
- Some presence in Uppsala and/or Vasteras is beneficial, especially during onboarding and planning sprints.
- The role reports to the CEO.
