Product Lead/Product Manager
Embedded Developer Tools / B2B SaaS
Percepio is a Swedish product company in embedded software observability. We build tools that help developers understand the runtime behavior of complex embedded and RTOS-based systems, from development and test to deployed devices in the field.
We are a small, senior team with strong technology, global customers, and clear ambitions for the next growth phase. We are now looking for a Product Leader to help the ongoing acceleration into an even more scalable and product-driven company. This is a high-responsibility role with a potential path to CPO for the right person, complementing and contributing as part of Percepio’s executive leadership team. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company by learning the product deeply, understanding our users, and taking real ownership of product management in practice.
The Role
Percepio is at a stage where product leadership can create outsized impact. You will work closely with our CEO and CTO/founder to strengthen a structured, transparent, and scalable product function on top of a strong technical foundation.
In practice, this means improving planning and prioritization, tightening customer feedback loops, increasing cross-functional clarity, and helping us make sharper, more data-driven roadmap decisions with limited resources.
This is not a narrow specialist role. It is for someone who enjoys combining strategic judgment with hands-on execution in a small, ambitious company. We are not looking for a distant strategist, but for someone who wants to get close to the product, the users, and the details, and turn that understanding into better product decisions and stronger execution.
What we are looking for
You are a senior, pragmatic product-oriented person with strong technical credibility and good execution habits. You know how to create structure without creating bureaucracy.
We think the right candidate will bring most of the following:
- Proven product leadership experience in B2B software
- Ability to run planning and prioritization in a resource-constrained environment
- Ability and willingness to learn our product deeply and understand customer use cases in context
- Ability to translate customer needs into clear product specifications for development
- Ability to validate new functionality before release
- Comfort presenting functionality in customer demos, webinars, presentations, or technical notes, and collecting structured feedback
- Ability to turn insights into clear decisions and practical execution
- Experience improving product processes and organizational clarity
- Hands-on experience as a software developer
- Excellent written and verbal English
Relevant backgrounds
You do not need to tick every box below, but these experiences are especially appealing to us, and please elaborate on matching backgrounds in your application.
- Developer tools, infrastructure software, embedded systems, or other deep-engineering products or services
- Developer tools, infrastructure software, embedded systems, or other deep-engineering products
- A background as a senior software engineer, systems engineer, or technical lead
- Experience in a hands-on Product Manager and/or Product Owner role close to engineering and users
- Experience with software quality, testing, CI/CT flows, or related infrastructure
- Familiarity with embedded systems, RTOS environments, semiconductor-adjacent ecosystems, or technical B2B buying journeys
- Experience from quality-focused or regulated software environments
- Curiosity about machine learning and AI, either for internal productivity or for product value creation
- A background as a senior software engineer, systems engineer, or technical lead
Who you are
We believe you will thrive here if you are:
- Curious and technically engaged
- Straightforward and low-ego
- Comfortable with ambiguity, but good at creating clarity for others
- Structured and reliable in execution
- Collaborative, transparent, and honest in how you work
- Motivated by real impact rather than status or process theatre
- Share with the team when and why things fail, and what we can all learn
Your mission in the first 6 months
You will take operational ownership of product leadership across planning, prioritization, and customer-near product learning. That likely includes:
- Leading a lean but structured product cadence from discovery to prioritization to delivery follow-up
- Turning market and customer input into clear roadmap decisions and execution plans
- Improving product planning transparency and alignment across product, engineering, and commercial work
- Driving tighter customer feedback loops with prospects, users, partners, and key accounts
- Supporting selected technical pre-sales and customer conversations to sharpen product-market fit
- Helping us reduce founder bottlenecks and build a scalable product function over time
Scope and environment
This role combines strategic and hands-on product leadership. The initial scope is intentionally broad, because we want the right person to learn fast, contribute early, and help shape the function.
You will work in an environment with:
- Embedded and RTOS-oriented developer tools
- A B2B software business with an ongoing SaaS transformation
- Close day-to-day collaboration between product, engineering, and commercial work
- International high profile customers and partners in semiconductors, RTOS ecosystems, and advanced embedded domains
Some of the brightest minds and most experienced engineers in our domain work here. Our culture is honest, straight forward, transparent and result oriented. We are driven by our vision. The Percepio team is characterized by curiosity and a passion for technology and solutions enabling unique customer benefits. We have a flat organization and combine a dynamic startup culture, customer focus and exciting opportunities with a deeply rooted respect for work/life balance, flexibility, and freedom under responsibility in a reciprocal way. We will succeed, or fail, together, as one team.
Why join Percepio?

- A genuine opportunity to shape product direction, operating model, and growth trajectory
- Close collaboration with senior leadership and direct influence on how we build the next chapter
